Something New -Polish Days January

PAINTED & MAGNETIZED

Hello everyone!
(This blog seems to look best in Google Chrome)
Painted & Magnetized

For Polish Days January we are all going to make something new. I have used this technique once before, but this is the first time I use the same pattern on all nails. And this time I use red/ magenta, green and blue/ blurple, and added rhine stones. The pattern is created by first painting a pattern using magnetic nail polishes, and then make a second pattern with the magnet after applying top coat.

For information about Polish Days, and how you can join in, just click on the badge below, and you will find everything you need, explained by Hannah from Polly Polish. She is the one who started Polish Days and she organizes it.

I wasn't good at placing the magnet this time. I wish the inner circles were placed in the middle, where the stripes met. I also wish I had managed to make a more smooth surface.

Used:

Tiny brush
Palette
Magnet: China Glaze Magnetix II
Base- and top coat
Magnetic nail polish:
Deborah Lippmann Magnetic Wave: Love is A Battlefield (magenta)
IsaDora Magnetic Nails: 854 Opposites Attract (green)
Prestige: NMM-03 Topaz (blue/ blurple)
Rhine stones (fuchsia)

The rhine stones are from one of the 5 nail art wheels I chose when I won a Chit Chat Nails Bundle Monster contest! :-) Link: Nailart Nail Art Glitters Beads Rhinestones Wheel from Bundle Monster. The other thing I chose was the 2012 stamping plates.

My most photographed polish of 2012: OPI Diva of Geneva, part VI

Hello everyone!

(This blog looks best if you use Google Chrome)

OPI Diva of Geneva

Here are the last 16 photos of OPI Diva of Geneva from 2012. Earlier this year I couldn't reduce the amount of pictures of this nail polish to less than 70, but now I chose to remove a few of them. I thought about applying the polish once more today to make some snowy photos too. But instead of two more posts with 10 photos in each, I made this sixth and last post in this series bigger.

Hello everyone!

OPI Diva of Geneva

Today I'm finally showing you the nail polish that I've got most pictures of from 2012. It was so difficult to choose which photos to use, that I never showed you OPI Diva of Geneva. Instead of one post with lots of photos, I'll show you 10 in each post. This is part I! :-)

Deborah Lippmann: Steal My Kisses- set. Part 1

Love Is A Battlefield (magnetic)

Hello everyone!

Deborah Lippmann: Love Is A Battlefield

"Love Is A Battlefield" is one of the two magnetic nail polishes from Deborah Lippmann's set called "Steal My Kisses", that I bought early in May, as you can see here. In the next post I will show you the other nail polish; "Berry Metal".

 Deborah Lippmann: Steal My Kisses

On the front of the box it says "magnetic wave design nail lacquer", and it has a silver wave design, and through a window you see the purple- silver nail lacquer, the magnet, and the red nail lacquer, which I will show today.
