Crab on the nails, crab on the plates, crab on the stamping plate, crab, crab, crab.

Hello everyone!

Crab nails, stamping plate SPPMB114, from KKCenterHk

I was going to eat crab claws one night, and remembered that one of my new stamping plates from KKCenterHk actually has a crab image. So after some thinking, I chose to apply a polish that is gold but leaning to silver as background color, and started stamping with a red stamping polish. Here is the result.

To make this, you'll need:
base- and top coat
gold nail polish
red stamping nail polish
stamper and scraper
stamping image plate with crab image -I used N.NAIL stamping plate SPPMB114 from KKCenterHk. But as you see on my photos it is engraved B114.
things to clean the stamping equipment: nail polish remover, cotton swabs/ Q-tips, cotton pads

Using this stamping system is easy, but everyone has to know what to do the first time. KKCenterHk shows how to do it on the top of this page. When your stamping plate is new, you have to remove the plastic protection film, (as I showed you in this post. In that post you can also see photos of the stamper and scraper I used.)

I had seen tutorials on YouTube, so I already knew what to do. But I practised on manicures that I was going to take off first. For this crab manicure I also used a top coat before stamping. Then, if you do a mistake, you can use a cotton swab/ Q- tip with nail polish remover to remove the stamped image. This will hopefully only remove the top coat, so that you don't have to start all over. I had read that advice on Ooo, Shinies! Also, using a cotton swab, it's not so easy to ruin the nail art on your other hand. I have heard that one should be careful not to cut oneself on the edges of some stamping plates, but but I didn't have any problems with that.

After stamping I was afraid of smearing my crab nail art with the top coat, so most of these photos are taken before top coat. But of course a top coat is necessary to make it last.

I like that this stamping plate has images of many other animals. I will make more posts using this plate. But first I think I will show you a butterfly manicure and a Hawaii manicure, using the other gifts from KKCenterHk.
